JSV Orbit PTE

The Orbit is the debut model of theLink & Tag Project Watch.

Created in close collaboration withJSV Engraving Studio, it showcases our commitment to craftsmanship and designexcellence.

The name “Orbit” is inspired by itsdistinctive rotating second disc, which we have adorned with threehand-engraved patterns: Shippō, Dragon Scale, and Ginkgo. Each motif carriesits own story — harmony, strength, and enduring beauty.

The main dial is finished in acomplementary color, carefully chosen to enhance and echo the theme of theengraved design.

Shippou “ 七寶紋”

Shippou –meaning “seven treasures “in the Japanese language, is a traditional decorativemotif with both visual beauty and deep symbolic meaning. In the Buddhisttradition the “Seven Treasures “refer to seven precious substances mentioned insutras: Gold , Silver , Lapis Lazuli , Crystal , agate , red pearl , and coral.These represent supreme value, virtue and spiritual wealth, not just materialriches. because of the overlapping circles in the pattern creating a chain ofinterlinked petals, it symbolizes the interconnectedness of all beings andharmonious relations between them. The dark blue main dial carries the calm andbalanced energy of deep water, perfectly echoing the sense of tranquilityShippou represents.

Ginkgo “銀杏”

The Ginkgotree and its leaves have deep symbolic meanings across many Asian cultures ,and they often tied to themes of endurance, hope and elegance. Because Ginkgotrees can live for over a thousand years and even survived the Hiroshimabombing , making them a symbol of incredible endurance and renewal . InJapanese and Chinese culture Ginkgo is often linked to peace, healing andrenewal. The green main dial represents the season “Spring” which is when theGinkgo flowers blossom. 

Lóng Lin  “龍鱗”

Dragons areoften associated with emperors and divine right in the Chinese history , andsymbol of Supreme Strength, the scales of a dragon – as part of the dragon’sbody represent the untouchable commanding presence . Scales are also a naturalarmor in many animals , which symbolizes defense against harm and the abilityto endure challenges. During the imperial China ,purple was historicallyassociated with high rank and the “ Purple Forbidden City” ) Which is anothername for the Imperial Palace, just as a dragon is the ultimate imperial symbol.
